Check out stat of the week 9. Fred Jackson played arena ball for Sioux City.He is also married to a girl from Alta,Ia. A couple years ago one of my brothers was working in Alta and Fred would run every morning, stopping by to chat with the crew.Bro said he was a super nice guy,so it's great to hear he is doing well.
As a Raider fan,I love to read about the Crabtree stuff.Sure he is talented, but he is also not playing football, where as DHB has started his first two NFL games. The Raiders took a bunch of heat for picking HB over Crabtree.Right now it looks like a very smart move on thier part.Of course time will tell,Crabtree could end up being a star, but maybe a little TO in the making.

Wow, too cool on Fred. I hope he keeps the job over Lynch! I lived in the Buffalo area one summer and always root for them a little bit. The stadium is halfway in the ground, crazy to see it. Neat town, neat people. The wings, oh man.

They had an article on Kelly Stauffer in the Omaha paper this past week, he was the Nebraska kid that sat out the season in the late 80's after the Cardinals drafted him and offered him a poor contract. Now he's doing a few games as an analyst.

Crabtree is an idiot. I can still remember the article saying the Bengals wouldn't draft him because he pulled some super diva stunt on them before the draft.

Think about it, the BENGALS. They drafted Andre Smith a round too high and he had more baggage than United.

There is also mention of attending a small college game or a high school game.If any of you have time, please do this.It can be really good football.
Last Sat the boys and I went to the Northwestern vs. Nebraska Wesylan game.NAIA level, lots of good athletes.

I went to the UNO vs. PSU volleyball game, does that count? Actually, I had a great time as did the girls.

One girl was my friends daughter. But I gotta say, some volleyball teams are very entertaining to watch!

Besides, I've never liked 6' blondes Smile

Crabtree is getting some bad advice from his agent but it's ultimatley his decsion not to sign. If he's not happy with 10 mil a year let him get a real job and see how much he likes that!!
